Governance
Our operating structure is organized into a global Committee and various national Centers, with each country having at least one Communications Center and one Social Mobilization Center.
The Global Committee is formed by representatives of the national Centers and by the organizations that created the Movement. It is responsible for defining the objectives, goals, and the main strategies for communication, alliances, member engagement, and climate campaigns.
The National Centers are structured in countries where It’s Now members are present. To provide all the necessary support, each country has at least one Communication Center and one Social Mobilization Center.
The Communication Center gathers volunteers interested in working directly with the communication part of It’s Now in the countries, adapting the materials to the local reality, sending suggestions for the website and social media, helping in the dissemination campaigns, and in the registration of climate actions.
The Social Mobilization Center is responsible for accompanying the entire trajectory of the It’s Now members, from their entry, through the training process and support for climate actions, as well as contributing to resource management.
